How the tracker works

Where the prices come from: each master database update records a PlayStation price for every card. The tracker lines those updates up, carrying a price forward when it didn't change, and treats a price of 0 as extinct.
Usual price: the median of the card's earlier prices, ignoring one-off spikes more than 1.5 times its overall median (FUTBIN sometimes shows a placeholder when a card has no listings).
Profit after tax: the usual price rounded down to a price you can actually list at, minus EA's 5% tax, minus today's price.
Signals: Still falling means the price dropped at each of the last two updates, which usually means a new card settling or a replacement promo, not a dip. On the floor means the card is within 5% of the lowest price EA allows, so it can hardly fall further. Bounced before means this card has already dipped and recovered in the history.
Confidence grows with history: Low until a card has 5 prices and one recovery on record, Medium after that, High with 10+ prices and 2+ recoveries while not falling.
When it may rise: for every earlier update, the tracker checks how many cards in the same price band that had dipped 5% or more were back near their usual price at the next update, and how long it took. It uses the card's own past recoveries when it has some.
Signal tracker: at every past update the tracker asks "would this card have been a buy-low signal with what was known then?" and follows each signal forward. A signal closes when the price reaches the usual price it was signalled at (target hit), when selling would lose a third of the target profit after EA's 5% tax or the price is 15% below what you paid, whichever comes first (stopped out; a true 1:3 risk to reward), or after 7 days (timed out, scored at the price then). Because the tax alone costs 5% of the price, a 1:3 stop is only below the price you paid when the target profit is more than about 15% of it, so smaller signals are not raised. Seven days covers one full weekly cycle of promos and Weekend League rewards; a dip that hasn't recovered in that time usually reflects a real change in the card's value. Win rate counts closed signals that would have sold at a profit after tax.
Market timing needs updates spread over different days and times. With one update a day at similar times, the day-and-time grid fills slowly; more frequent updates at varied times fill it faster.
